A sociological study on Ukrainian public opinion regarding nuclear energy was conducted by the research agency Info Sapiens at the request of NGO Ecoaction and the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Kyiv Office – Ukraine.
The results of this study will be presented during an online event on March 20. The discussion will also cover key technological, economic, and environmental risks associated with the completion of Units 3 and 4 at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant. Recently, the Ukrainian Parliament approved draft law No. 11392, which provides for the purchase of russian equipment from Bulgaria for this project.
Experts, politicians, and civil society will discuss the implications of these construction plans.
